Two Banana Bases, One Smart System: Longan Dingtang & Chongzuo Xinyufeng

Precision timing isn't just for tech companies. In banana farming, it means the difference between premium fruit and second-grade tonnage.

Case Data: 2-Base Banana Precision Scaling

  • Region: Nanning (Longan) & Chongzuo, Guangxi
  • Crop: High-yield Banana (Export grade)
  • Impact: 25% Fertilizer Savings, 100% Automated Scheduling.

JJR soil sensor deployment — Longan Dingtang banana base, Guangxi

Banana is Guangxi's largest fruit export crop — but inconsistent irrigation and manual fertilizer schedules have long capped both quality and margins. When JJR was approached by two of Guangxi's major banana operators — one in Longan County (Nanning) and one in Chongzuo City — the ask was simple: make fertilization predictable, automatic, and precise.

"Every growth stage has a formula. Our system just makes sure the plant receives it — to the gram, at the right moment."

Base 01: Longan Dingtang, Nanning

At the Longan Dingtang plantation, JJR deployed an intelligent water-fertilizer integration system enabling timed, precise delivery of nutrients to each banana plant. The flat terrain allowed a standard drip grid configuration, and the system replaced manual irrigation schedules entirely — significantly improving water and fertilizer utilization rates while cutting labor costs.

Base 02: Chongzuo Xinyufeng

The Xinyufeng base required a custom layout tailored to the site's terrain variation. JJR integrated the Israel–China precision plant nutrition program — a full-cycle fertilizer management protocol co-developed with Israeli agronomy expertise — adapting nutrient formulas automatically to each growth stage of the banana crop: from vegetative through to bunch filling and pre-harvest.

Before vs. After Implementation

Before JJR

  • Manual fertilizer mixing & application
  • Inconsistent nutrient delivery
  • High labor dependency
  • Variable fruit weight & grade

After JJR

  • Timed precision fertigation — zero manual mixing
  • Growth-stage nutrition formulas auto-applied
  • Field labor redirected to higher-value tasks
  • Improved bunch weight & market-grade rate

Applicable Across Southeast Asia

Guangxi's subtropical climate mirrors the conditions of major banana-producing regions in Malaysia, Thailand and Laos. JJR's irrigation and fertigation systems are fully deployable in Southeast Asia — the same Israel–China nutrition protocol used in Chongzuo can be adapted to local soil chemistry with on-site calibration by JJR's agronomy team.
